PENOBSCOT MINERAL AND LAPIDARY CLUB
All meetings are held at the LadySmith Studio, 19 Bomarc Road in Bangor, ME.,
on the second Saturday of the month. Time is 2:00 PM during the fall & winter,
7:00 PM in spring & summer.

MT. MICA DUMP
NEXT MEETING: March 8, 2008 2:00 PM
We were able to purchase a dump truck load of Mt. Mica dump material. This
was deposited at one of the club's members back yard and is available to all club
members to pick through at any time. The club had a field day there and
members have been back several times. The dump material is very rich and
everyone has found very nice specimens of tourmaline (some gem) quartz and
lipidolite. Pictures are in the photo album page.
